midnight mass
miniseries that has veen on my watchlist for a whileeeee. I really enjoyed it!! the depiction of church resurfaced ancient buried Catholic memories... reading after the fact that mike flanagan is an ex-Catholic made a lot of sense. there was less action and more talking than I expected... also a lot bleaker ending than I was hoping for. gave me a lot to chew on though.
jojo's bizarre adventure (jojolion)
uh. what happened here. the fact that it took me like a month to finish jjl when I blasted
through sbr in a weekend is something. like idk. the characters weren't super interesting to
me (aside from like, three of them), the plot seemed to be going nowhere and kind of ended
at an unsatisfying point. it just felt really meandering without clear stakes and then it
ended! also I really fucking hate joshu LMAOOOO it's been a long time since I felt such
unfiltered rage towards a character. for real.
jojo's bizarre adventure (steel ball run)
the posing in this series makes me go insane. i'm putting this on my other page rather than
books because 1) I read it online and 2) all the other jojos are here so it feels weird to
break them up. ANYWAYs.
i'm normal about diego brando. come closer.
that asideeeee I did really enjoy steel ball run!!! picking up lucy and taking her to dairy
queen to get ice cream. she is so brave and strong. also I like hot pants. and johnny. and
gyro. I like most of the main cast To Be Real. also let me tap into some of my horse girl
(gender neutral) past...
jojo's bizarre adventure (stone ocean)
I liked stone ocean a lot up until I didn't. and uh. to say what I didn't like is massive
spoilers LMAO. I really liked jolyne!! and FF!! and pucci. oh my fucking god pucci. not even
in like a I Need Him way but in a I understand him So So Deeply way. I would think about dio
for 20 years straight after having a chance encounter with him at a formative age LMAOOOO.
jojo's bizarre adventure (golden wind)
Ok. So. if I think about golden wind too hard I will start crying. if I think about bruno
too hard I will start crying. if I think about narancia too hard I will start crying. part 5
was very very catered to ME for having found family and shitty brats and gay freaks
(affectionate). the amount of emotional anguish I went through in the final arc. LMAO
jojo's bizarre adventure (diamond is unbreakable)
after stardust crusaders I was like I'm gonna chill out on the jojos for a minute then I
watched all of DIU in a week. whoops. kind of a huge whiplash from part 3 but I did
eventually settle into it. unfortunately bewitched by rohan's bitchy demeanor and twink
sensibilities :/
jojo's bizarre adventure (stardust crusaders)
Hi. I am very normal about Dio. Come Closer.
ok I did actually really like the sort of. hardcore roadtrip that stardust crusaders was. I
hated jotaro at the start but I warmed up to him gradually and now he's maybe my favorite
jojo so far. josuke giving him a run for his money tho. insane anime bullshit (affectionate)
turned up to 11
jojo's bizarre adventure (battle tendency)
very recently have all but cut myself off from watching ytube endlessly and so I am slowly
chipping at my backlog of media to watch instead. caesar was my favorite from this part! but
also I kinda fw kars for being a shapeshifting asexual pseudodeity. transition goals.
jojo's bizarre adventure (phantom blood)
I watched this... in april 2024... and I totally forgot to add it to the page until now....
very fun! I haven't watched a lot of anime in a while so getting back into Weird Anime
Bullshit (positive). I like dio. as expected. collector of little blonde bastards.
dragula (s6)
has dragula gotten too big for its own boots... that is the question. I still love the
artistry and the filth and the glamour... but part of me feels like I could see more
executive meddling in this season than previous ones. points for finally including a DMV
area queen. also grey matter who is now maybe my favorite contestant of all seasons.
over the garden wall
somehow I've never watched this before and also have stayed entirely unspoiled on it for the
decade since it's been out. beautifully animated, toes the line between lighthearted and
haunting perfectly. absolutely gutting towards the end, and definetly worth a rewatch. full
of colorful, memorable characters that stand out even with the short length. the beast is
sick as hellllll
saw the musical
I've seen this twice so far!! once in new york, and more recently on their national tour.
campy, silly, and more than a little crass. it's a show made by fans for fans, and I liked
all the little easter eggs for other saw movies. I got squibbed with gordon's leg blood both
times LMAO
the boulet brothers' dragula: resurrection
fun two hour long dragula episode. this was filmed early on in the pandemic so that meant
that the crew went out to the participants instead of them all going to the show's set. I
liked that boudoir drama was replaced with contestants talking about their drag which... I
really enjoy seeing the insight that goes into crafting the drag looks.
the boulet brothers' dragula (s1-s5)
started watching dragula after seeing some of the contestants perform at spookala in april
2024. I ended up catching the season 5 world tour with my sister. I'm working my way
backwards through the seasons since I started with 5 to prep for the world tour show. this
show means a lot to me and maybe someday I'll write something about it...

read here
multimedia horror web serial about a newly discovered life form merging with a space base's
AI, and the person who communicates with it. the use of audio and video and web tricks is
soooo cool. heed trigger warnings on the about page.
mikuexpo 2024
I went to mikuexpo 2024 in DC! as per usual I wish that they had more songs from vocaloids
other than miku. and the led screen was a bummer. and the fact that they didn't have enough
light sticks for anyone who wasn't a vip to get them. but all that aside. I had a blast at
the show with my friend and sister!! miku miku beam went hard.
