    welcome to my little corner of the internet where I attempt to embrace the adage “I may be cringe, but I am free.” the idea behind this site is to gather together all of my scattered personal projects in a central location for viewing, but also to be a little silly and fun! my interests are scattered across the site but here I will list current faves and a more exhaustive list, because I love lists.

why thatoddhaystack?

ThatOddHaystack has been my main brand for a long time, around a decade at this point. during those years I have pointed to this gif as being the source of the moniker because I think it's funny, but that's not quite true. in truth, the name was something I came up with off the cuff as my handle for a now-defunct adventure time fan forum I forget the name of. I was 14/15 at the time. I think I was probably just trying to think of something funny and unique, and that's what came to mind. now, it is my whole online brand!

not entirely though. thatoddhaystack is my handle I use for places I will be posting my art - I use other handles for purely personal accounts where I expect to be consuming more than producing (for lack of a better phrasing). yuyudev is my game dev handle I use for places like itchio, and accounts that I use mainly for posting game dev content. by the way, yuyudev is derived from a nickname someone gave me while I was working on dream vs dream, an abandoned yume nikki fighting game project. my handle on that forum was uraniumUmbrella, hence, folks called me "yuyu".
