Pet Peeves

here is a small place for me to vent my minor frustrations. I am a lover but I am also a hater. I belive it is important for me to keep the two in balance. to those ends here are some of my pet peeves. if you see yourself in this list (metaphorically speaking) then please don't take it personally!

• cars who go under the speed limit on the highway when the road is clear. especially if they are in the left lane.
  • starting off with a very mild take I hope. listen I get that we have all been new drivers scared to be on the highway but please pleaseeeee at least hit the speed limit. that's all I'm asking. and going under in the passing lane is a recipe for a traffic jam
• cars that tailgate me when I am going over the speed limit in the left lane
  • on the flipside we have people who seem to not be happy unless you're going 20-30 miles over the speed limit (32-48 km for the non US friends.) I'm not driving recklessly just so this guy can get to his happy hour on time. either pass me or slow down.
• cybertrucks
  • a lot of car themed peeves here because I am a driver and I am often peeved. anyways cybertrucks are ugly as sin and I will think less of a person if they own one #notsorry
• people who watch media without headphones in public
  • I don't want to hear your kids video game that has loud glass breaking sounds every 10 seconds while I am peacefully sitting on the bus. I don't want to hear your loud tiktoks either. either turn the volume off or use headphones.
• people who talk/use their phone in the movie theater
  • with how expensive movie tickets are these days I cannot fathom wanting to pull my attention away from the big screen. there is no reason to be scrolling instagram during a movie and I Will interject myself into your scrolling to ask what you're looking at if you are next to me doing it.
