brief backstory

demo first met tau as a half formed voidsent living in the crystal tower. he was considered an oddity even among demons, as he had little interest in absorbing the aether of eorzeans, and preferred simply to scamper around and cause (mild) havoc. they're kind of like a cat in that respect. demo followed around tau despite the miqo'te's protest, and ended up accompanying and observing her through tau's adventures. post-endwalker, demo had finally absorbed enough ambient aether to take on a more stable form. she chose to look like a viera because they are cute. she also took on a job as a second retainer for tau, again despite tau's protests.

personality

demo would describe themselves as merely here for a laugh. they take nothing seriously, having a sort of blue and orange morality compared with tau and his party. they come off as weird and unsettling most of the time, but they do crack jokes frequently. they just usually aren't funny. he is prone to take the backseat in situations, wanting to simply observe the outcome rather than meddle in it himself. things that are interesting, regardless if they are good or bad, are more preferable to her than boring things.
