Lunar Leporidae
lunar leporidae is the second ghost I made for ghost jam 2024. my friend, decomakke drew the shell! the setting of this ghost is a base on the far side of the moon, where a group of rabbitfolk research the variety of life on the earth. you are one of the rabbitfolk who is in charge of traveling to earth to collect more samples. in between these missions, you catch up with arneb, one of the rabbitfolk who lives permanently on the moon.
arneb is my first foray into writing for a ghost! well, first focused attempt. I also wrote for aiba and aurora.exe but... I'm not particularly proud of their writing. he has very little in terms of coding, which is a sharp departure from most of my previous projects. he's also my first ghost where I didn't draw the shell! lots of firsts! i hope to update him in the future with more dialogue and story options.
Long Leg Bird (with top hat)
long leg bird (with top hat) is a simple mascot character I've had for a while. their ghost is a simple gimmick ghost where they slowly grow taller over time until they are double clicked on. I made them for ghost jam 2024, where my top goal was to "keep it simple" since I am very prone to scope creep in my projects, and I think I succeeded with them!
SSP Angel
SSP Angel is a sort of "tutorial" to SSP (a baseware for running
ukagaka) along with ghosts in general. the ukagaka consists of two
characters: angel and pilot. they have a lot of usage tips along
with some more typical fluff dialogue. I did all of their shell
art along with the base art for the cotton candy balloon that
comes bundled with them. they are my most ambitious shell work to
date, with facial features and angel's arms separate from the base
so that they can be combined into numerous expressions.
i'm super pleased with how they turned out in the end, especially when combined with the rest of the team's coding and writing. if you are new to ukagaka, I highly recommend them! even as a quote unquote veteran user and dev, they had a lot of tidbits that were new to me!
as I was writing this page, a member from the ukagaka dream team server, phantasia, made a shell for them!! I am so so delighted that someone liked my designs enough to make them an alternate shell; their pilot gijinka is super cute!! I've added a link to download it below.

Aiba
aiba is an ukagaka of a character from ai:the somnium files. she
has banter with her partner, kaname date, as well as information
about personel and terms from the game. aside from that, she has
productivity tools like a work timer and reminders. she also comes
with a custom balloon based off of the dialogue boxes in ai:the
somnium files. there is a spoiler toggle for dialogue and some
images.
in terms of my ghosts, I feel like aiba has the most advanced programming. i added a custom pronoun feature to her, although I didn't end up using it much in her dialogue... the systems for custom reminders is robust, allowing for delaying reminders and repeating reminders. the work timer has features like a continuous mode and the ability to save custom timers. someday I want to update her with more dialogue and tama as an additional character.

Tartaglia
a ghost of tartaglia from genshin impact. he was my project for
ghost jam 2021, an event held annually by the ukagaka dream team
server to build a ghost from (almost) nothing in a week. I had
grand plans for him for sure. I wanted to add a resin timer, and
checklists for grinding, but I got the covid19 vaccine midway
through the jam, which utterly knocked me out for a few days.
still glad I got it for sure! it was just poor timing. the result
was that I only really filled in the dialogue with tartaglia, and
all the utilities I wanted to add fell by the wayside. I did at
least finish a shell and custom balloon.
for a long time, I kept him as a discord server exclusive because I wasn't happy with how unpolished he was, and was convinced that some day I would pick him back up and finish him. two years have passed. I don't think I'm going to be going back any time soon. and since I dislike keeping things locked to a discord server, I decided to finally release him to the public as is. bugs will be present. he doesn't have any features other than the default SSP ones. but maybe you will like him all the same.
after discussions with ukagaka dream team mods in feb 2024, he was retroactively disqualified from the list of qualified ghost jam 2021 ghosts. he uses dialogue from genshim impact which was against the jam rules of no external assets.

Aurora.EXE
the ukagaka that started it all for me. aurora.exe is an original
character who is a vtuber. her videos are glitchy and strange,
leading people to believe there is more to her than just a cutesy
anime girl persona. in universe, she distributes an ukagaka of
herself for plot-related reasons.
in terms of features, aurora is the most varied of my ghosts. she has some productivity tools, some games, and a shop where you can buy different colored balloons for her (if you download her balloon pack, that is). she also has a creepy mode that can come up by chance either all day on halloween, or after being booted late at night. as she was my first foray into programming in sakurascript, there are some rough edges to her features, some of which I recoded entirely when making aiba. she is still a work in progress, and while I haven't updated her in a minute, I still have big plans for her.
