Mage & Bird (Freeshell)
my entry for etc jam 2026! this year a fellow ukgk dev (zichqec) put together an open
collaboration for folks to join with a theme of "celestial mages" and given that I didn't
have any ideas going into etc jam I figured I would join! I ended up making a fairly simple
shell with the intent on adding more after jam... the mage does have most basic expressions
though! and an optional glasses dressup. I had a lot of fun designing these two!
Glitterdle (Needle)
my entry for needle day 2025! I made this very fast near the end of the day because I wanted
to make a shell for needle day. another shell that was 90% one brush on clip studio paint -
this time a glitter brush! though I think in black and white it looks more like static... so
I added sparkles so You Know it's glitter.
Melon-Lime Soda (Hydrate)
melon-lime soda is a shell I made for etc jam 2025. there's a bar in new york city called
katana kitten that I visit whenever I travel there, and my favorite cocktail there is their
melon-lime soda! so, I am preserving it in hydrate shell form... I did intend to do more of
their drinks for etc jam but I kinda ran out of time. a future project perhaps.
Needlework (Crochet) [Needle]
needlework (crochet) is a shell I made for needle. I freehand crocheted a needle, took a
photo, and made some color edits for different dressups. I did intend to make this for
needle day 2024, but I didn't have time... better late than never!
Bloodbag (Hydrate)
bloodbag is a shell I made for etc jam 2024. another idea that I've had on my mind for a
while. there's not a lot of shells that stick to the top of your desktop so I thought it
would be fun to do one! comes with a variety of different colors, some of which have easter
eggs in the "blood" type.
Pumpkin Punch (Hydrate)
pumpkin punch is a shell I made for hydrate shell jam 2024. I had the idea of a pumpkin
punch bowl shell for a while and settled on it as something I could bang out in a day for
the jam. currently comes with dress up options for the face, spoon, and a few drink flavors.
I plan to expand on this in the future!
Foil (Needle)
foil is a shell I made for needle for needle day (11/11) in 2023. I had downloaded an
aluminum foil brush for clip studio paint a while ago, and after seeing a bunch of needle
shells get posted I had the urge to make a quick shell myself with the brush.
Computer Bug (Freeshell)
computer bug is a freeshell made for the ukagaka dream team's etc jam in 2023. themed after
the "friendly computer bug" label pin, and retro computer terminals. no blinking/talking
animations, but has four dress-ups. I included a psd for both the menu sidebar and the shell
itself for users to tweak and edit it as they please. has a matching balloon and calendar
skin available for download in one pack.
Bishoujo Hydrate (Hydrate)
made for the 8/20 hydrate jam in 2022! bishoujo hydrate was inspired by a number of sources:
the bishoujo line of figures by kotobukiya, gijinkas of inanimate objects inevitably being
cute girls, and a particular ukagaka user who is frustrated by inanimate object ghosts. (if
that user is reading this, I mean no ill intent, I just think the insistence on ghosts
needing to stick to a rigid template somewhat amusing) thus, bishoujo hydrate was created.
honestly, while she might have been a very tongue in cheek concept at first, I got attached
to her...
LOL Mug (Hydrate)
I have a coffee mug I use fairly frequently that is green with LOL printed on the side. I
thought it would be fun to make it into a shell for the hydrate ghost. I added a whole bunch
of different colors for options, because I wanted to make a shell that had multiple options
(even if it's just something simple like color choice)
Rilakkuma Coffee (Hydrate)
the first shell I made for hydrate was based off another one of my coffee cups. this time,
it's a clear rilakkuma cup that was gifted to me by my host family when I studied abroad in
japan in 2017. the cup means a lot to me, and I use it practically every day, so I knew I
had to make a shell for hydrate. then, I could have it on my desktop as well!
